Episode 10 – Weight, Weight, Don’t Tell Me

This week, Catherine and Donald make an NPR joke. Then they talk about having a hard week in the weight loss game and the importance of not letting it lead to giving up. After that, they say the word “data” a lot and talk about the importance of collecting it. They tell you that getting on the scale, measuring food, and logging what you eat are all necessary steps to staying on track. Facing the truth can be difficult, but ignoring the information, or telling yourself lies, can lead to self-sabotage and quitting. Sometimes the hardest truths are the ones we tell ourselves. Gosh.

This podcast was great. I have a love-hate relationship wit the scale. Don’t have one, literally threw it away. Last time I tried to lose weight I weighed every day. Even did this step on step off dance to make it register a lower number. Then I learned if I lean forward alittle it would give me a number I liked. Well stopped weighing altogether until I went to Dr’s office and I was suddenly 255!😖
